Gulab jamun





Indgredients:


milk                                                                enough to make the dough

all purpose flour                                          2 tsp

baking pdr                                                   1/2 tsp
Carnation Milk Powder                              2 cups

Oil                                                                  to fry

shotening                                                    2 tsp

sooji                                                             2 tsp

Sugar                                                           2 cups


Preparation:


*              In a bowl add sugar and water, lime juice  and bring it to boil if required add rose water also.
*                  In another bowl add milk powder, fat mix well then add maida or all purpose flour, baking powder mix well and now add the soked sooji remove the water and mix well.
*          Now add little by little milk and make into a dough and keep a side for 10min.
*                 After 10min make the dough into small ball and deep fry till golden color. Then and add them  to the sugar syrup and let them suck the water for some time.

Home made Ganesha with Riceflour

Paneer burji


Ingredients :


200 gms Paneer
1 tbsp Oil
1/4 tsp Cumin seeds
2 Green Chillies
1 Small Onion
1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
1/2 tsp Garam Masala Powder
1 tsp Ginger-Garlic Paste
1 medium Tomato

2 bell peppers
1/2 tsp Salt



Procedure : 


  • Chop the onions, tomatoes and chillies finely.
  • Heat oil in a deep bottomed pan, add the cumin seeds, chopped onions and the ginger garlic paste, fry till brown.
  • Add the chillies and tomatoes and fry till they are soft and pulpy.
  • Now add chopped bell peppers and cook for 5 mins
  • Add turmeric powder, garam masala powder, salt and little water so that all the masalas are well combined.
  • Add grated paneer and fry for 5 minutes till the paneer blends into the masala.
  • Garnish with chopped coriander and serve hot with chapati or roti.

Sooji ladoo



Ingredients : 

Sooji : 1 cup
sugar : 1 cup
coconut : 1/2 cup
raisins, almonds, cashews : 1/4 cup
milk : 1/2 cup
ghee : 2 tsp
cardamon pdr : pinch

Procedure : 

*  Heat a pan, add 2 tsp ghee or butter. Add raisins, almonds (chopped) and cashews and fry for a min, till the raisins puff up in low flame.
*  Now add freshly grated coconut and fry for 2mins in low flame.
*  Now add sooji and fry till the raw smell is goes off and till very light brown color comes.
*  Now add sugar and 1/2 cup of milk by mixing good ( the quantity of milk can be added  less or more depending how sof ur ladoos should be).
*  Now add a pinch of cardamon powder and turn the flame off.
*  Now make round ladoos out of the mixture and them cool down.

chana masala






Ingredients:


Chana : 500gms
Chana masala pdr : 2 tsp
gingergarlic paste : 1 tsp
green chillis : 2
onions : 2(medium)
tomatos : 2
cumin pdr : 1tsp
coriander pdr : 1tsp
whole garammasala
chopped coriander
turmeric : pinch
lemon juice : 1tsp(optional)
salt : as per taste


Procedure : 
       *  cook the chana in a cooker or microwave and put aside.( I used tinned chana so i did not cook them)
             *  Put a pan, heat 2 tsp oil and add whole garammasala(cloves, elachi, Cinnamon and jeera) and saute for a min.
             *  Now add chopped onions and salt to the onions. Then add turmeric and a tsp of ginger garlic paste, fry till the raw smell goes off.
             *  Now add chopped tomato's,  green chilli's and cover with a lid till the tomato's are little mushy.
             * After they are cooked, add chanamasala pdr ( if you don´t   have this, u can mix garam masala, chillipdr, turmeric, cumin pdr, aamchur pdr, pomagranate pdr together and add) and cook them to a nice paste.
             *  Now add a half cup of water, and after 5 mins, add the chana and 1 tsp lemon juice and cook for 5 mins.
             *  Add chopped coriander and serve hot with roti or poori.
